Welcome to my corner of the World!
As you can see from my self portrait that I have been involved in motorsports since the 70's. That's me with serious arm pump-up on my first bike, an orange 1971 Yamaha 60 Mini Enduro at Saddleback Park. I remember feeling like an ant trying to pick-up a brick every time I crashed. That bike was made of solid steel. And speaking of steel, that steel tank was rough on the knees, as well as the groin. No extra seat padding up the tank in those days.
I have been blessed to be living in a MX mecca in the U.S. Growing up in So. Cal. during the 70's and 80's, I have witnessed the Golden Age of Motocross. The sport was ever changing and evolving into bigger and bigger events, and larger than life personalities. The technological development seemed to move at the speed of light with completely new bikes each year. An amazing time to be a motocrosser.
I have a lot of old school mx images that I will be adding to my galleries very soon, so stay tuned.
Thank you for visting my gallery.
